December update

Caim's dates for autumn and winter 2007 are filling up. Wonder what we'll be doing in Spring and Summer!

In addition to our 10 day retreat tour with Wisconsin monk Fr Gregory OJN in Scotland and Norwich our Well at Willen dates have been confirmed and we'll be giving a workshop, concert and singing at a church service at the Well, Milton Keynes November 10 and 11 2007.

I met with poet Kenneth Steven this weekend. A meeting which coincided with Santa and his reindeer coming to Dunkeld - real, live reindeer I'm talking here - it was very exciting! Kenneth is still negotiating with his publisher for a CD of his poetry including Caim providing some of the music. The CD is to have a Celtic theme.

Meanwhile Kenneth and Caim will be giving workshops and a joint concert at Scargill Christian Centre in Yorkshire, October 2007.

Emails and Mp3s have been flying back and forth through cyberspace between Caim and Right Real Records who are interested in promoting Caim's music. We like their ideas very much so may have news of a new Caim release in 2007!

Ciaran and I have a week of Christmas parties to sing at for the Council for Music in Hospitals this week - St Andrews and Aberdeen today. It's a busy time for all the Music in Hospitals musicians. Ciaran still awaits the launch of his wonderful CD - hopefully copies will be available at his web site www.ciarandorris.com before Christmas.

Ciaran also has a web space at www.myspace.com and Caim has finally taken the plunge with a My Space site of our own http://www.myspace.com/celticcaim Please visit us there!

Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas and New Year season.

Deep Peace

Heather
